I never knew there were so many different sounds!<\/p>\n<p>Let me see\u2026<\/p>\n<p>The Foghorn \u2013 a long continuous one pitched sound, sometimes high and wailing, sometimes low and bellowing otherwise known as the \u201cpole noise\u201d as stated by 10 year old me.<\/p>\n<p>The Car engine \u2013 A low roar, sometimes accompanied by an ascending vroom but mostly the sort of rhumble you hear on modified cars with exhausts a football could fit inside.<\/p>\n<p>The Organ \u2013 Different tones in various volumes and length mostly low in pitch \u2013 my favourite although wrecks havoc with my senses when trying to do a hearing test!<\/p>\n<p>The Siren \u2013 Neenaw neenaw neenaw. Nuff said.<\/p>\n<p>The Intense Music \u2013 Akin to melodies heard on programmes and mostly triggered by a jump in me.<\/p>\n<p>The paper crunch \u2013 As it says on the tin, but continuous.<\/p>\n<p>The Bells \u2013 The most popular with the general public, little twinkle bells being run furiously right outside my ear.<\/p>\n<p>If you have Tinnitus, can you add to the list?
